hah i just tried to watch a movie about pocahontas.

so much for anything disney related

please somebody anybody tell me the names of films which are actually good and beautifully made but don’t make me want to eat my face off at the end

don’t get me wrong, all the films i’ve seen have the first part down. to the tee. gorgeously and flawlessly and inspiringly made. but PEOPLE - i am not ready to accept that all films made by anyone with a mind so wonderful to make them like so, must have a massive underlying layer of sh*t to them must end with me coming to the terms with the fact that “C’EST LA VIE”

sometimes they don’t die young sometimes they end up with the one they are supposed to sometimes it works out okay.
